It’s Marilu, I’m writing to report my experience.. We needed an engine for my Subaru Tribeca. (Very expensive mistake on my part). I don’t even want to discuss it. Anyway, I was getting more and more depressed researching internet sites, looking for a replacement engine. Our mechanic checked his resources and was not happy with the price and condition that he got from his supplier…. $5000 on an engine with 265,000 km. He likes and trusts his supplier, He obviously knows what I was soon to discover. . There are a TON of scammers out there. I always check out reviews and found that quite a high number of people order these engines and other parts from these scumbags, pay for them but never get the parts and when they do, they’re junk. . It’s bad enough to have unforeseen problems with your vehicle and then to be scammed and robbed. These were US sites that I was researching,, it was so scary thinking about making the purchase and then having to Pick it up and personally broker it into Canada. I wasn’t having much luck here at home in Ontario let alone Canada. I checked out Kijji and EBay. It was EBay where the post just popped up.. My engine… there it was. I messaged them immediately, I had been looking ALL DAY.. I was exhausted and feeling really defeated. It was late on a Saturday evening. Mike returned my text and answered my questions. He was kind and patient with me. We contacted them today and made a deal for an engine at half the price and 100,000 less kms. The reviews that I read were great with these guys. I am quite sure that if this engine works out as well as I’m hoping and praying that it will, our Subaru/Volvo Mechanic will be a customer as well. I’ll do a follow up once the engine is installed and running in my 2014 Subaru Tribeca. Thanks!!
